IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation (IPTIF) is a Section 8 Company incorporated by IIT Palakkad with support from Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). The focus area for IPTIF is Intelligent Collaborative Systems (ICS) with a special focus on Energy and Safety Sectors among the many others. IPTIF acts both as a Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) supporting Technology Development and Skill Develpment in Cutting-Edge Technology domains, while acting as an Incubator/Accelerator supporting Spinoffs, Entrepreneurs in Residence and Technology- startups, building indigenous technologies and products. IPTIF has so far supported over 26 Startups and completed equity investments in more than 10 Startups. IPTIF has 57 Technology development projects, with over 13 Patents and 1 successful Technology Transfer.
