Vadvivad is a public debate website. Considering the present situation of disorderly and inconclusive debates and conversations between public figures of importance and/or on topics of scientific and general importance, my web-app vadvivad aims to solve this problem by catering to the general format and discipline of debate and transparency. VadviVad allows users to login via their google account and challenge registered users for a debate. The debate is in form of a two-way chat between the challenger and acceptor for the debate.It also supports uploading audio/video/pdf etc files as proof of argument and supports equations(mathjax) and markdown for formatting. Their is a comment section below for each debate allowing general public to express their opinions. These debates are available to be retrieved any time on the homepage by a simple keyword search. These debates will allow people to generate opinions on contemporary topics of Science, General Knowledge, Social issues, Politics during election season, financial issues, technical methods, etc. The prototype is at http://vadvivad.pythonanywhere.com/
