Where this is

Startup India records the district. We do not have a street address for this company, and we will not invent one.

Somewhere in this district

The register records this company's district and nothing finer, so the district is what is drawn. No point is shown, because we do not have one.

In their own words

Roam Beyond was born in 1978 as Sikkim Trekking & Travel Services ( STTS ) when the pioneer of the tourism industry in Sikkim, Yeshi Dorjee, son of the Late Serdup Dungzin Rinpoche – a high lama of the Royal Pemayangtse monastery and creator of the magnificent “Dzangdopalri” structure decided to introduce the Sikkim Himalayas to the world. Sikkim had just transitioned from being an independent Himalayan Kingdom to another state of India in 1975. It was only in the late 80s did Sikkim actively start welcoming visitors to the state and in 1990 a handful of tour operators founded the Travel Agents Association of Sikkim ( TAAS) of which Yeshi Dorjee became its founder President. The company is now under the directions of Yeshi Dorjee’s eldest son Pema Tsewang Topgyal who after obtaining a coveted degree in Engineering never had the desire to pursue it as a profession but decided to work with his father in taking Sikkim Trekking forward. With his early elementary education in a private boarding catholic school in Darjeeling, India as well as five years of schooling in California, USA, Pema has a unique perspective in understanding both the cultures of the East and the West. Apart from organizing treks to the various Himalayan region, we are also focus on Buddhist & Himalayan studies programs as well as tours to all remote parts of Sikkim, Bhutan & North east India which seeks travelers to not only just travel the trodden path but “Roam Beyond” their comfort zone and discover places where few have visited.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A startup existing here means a startup exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot.
