Folkweave is a pioneering social enterprise under Koraput Handmade LLP, dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the handloom and handicraft traditions of South Odisha. Founded by Dr. Anuradha Kandala, Folkweave champions the rich cultural heritage of tribal textiles by promoting sustainable practices and fair trade. We work directly with local weavers and artisans, using eco-friendly natural dyes and traditional weaving techniques to create unique, handcrafted products. Our mission is to empower marginalized tribal communities, ensure fair compensation, and celebrate their artistry through beautiful, authentic textiles that honor their cultural legacy while addressing contemporary environmental and economic challenges.
