In their own words

.1. Business Model: We are a 10 year old Pharmaceutical firm with divisions of drug discovery and clinical trials companies. Our aim is to design and discover drugs for cancer, malaria, HIV, and other life threatening diseases. The current Indian drug discovery market has very few players and there is a scope for many more, most of the players are either owned by MNCs or depend on MNCs for business from MNCs. We aim to discover drugs, conduct clinical trials, and sell them to companies at competitive prices. Right now we are working on two molecules with potential to cure cancer. And one molecule is in the process of being presented for clinical trials and the second molecule is undergoing final stages of pre-clinical evaluation. Another chemotherapy regimen which is a combination of ayurvedic formulation and an anticancer medicine the aim is to reduce the side effects using formulations. There are six more molecules with three of them showing potential to treat HIV, one against Alzheimer's disease, one against stroke, and one against malaria. Our Chief of R&D has a database of over 600 molecules which satisfy the druggability criteria and the molecules database is updated every week. In essence the supply line for molecules is unlimited. 2. Why should an investor show interest ? The first question in an investors mind is why invest in JaysMedLabs after all there are many companies which have almost the same working profile. The answer is quite simple: the churning rate is high and any company which can churn out molecules per month is always on the radar of MNCs. Our founder has over 300 molecules which meet all the criteria of druggability. And he keeps on adding molecules every week to his stable at a steady rate. An investor may always look for immediate profit but small molecule firms/drug design firms need a steady flow of investment before being profitable. MNCs are always looking out for molecules with potential; many have their innovation portals where scientists can work on their small molecule. We could have a joint venture with them to work on their proposed molecules. The possibility for small molecule firms is good and the past 10 years have seen many such firms setting up shop in India. Ideally any molecule designed is a drug but in the real world there are a host of issues plaguing the final outcome of the drug. The long term outcome for small molecule design firms is pretty good and worth investing. 3. Financials: For small molecule design we need software and we have quotes from 2 competing companies a. Chemical Computing Group (CCG) quoted at 61,500 US dollars b. Molsoft quoted their software at 125,000 euros c. Lab setup will cost 25 lakhs INR d. Cybersecurity will cost 15 lakhs INR e. overall cost for setting up a drug design firm will be 1 crore and 55 lakhs. Note. Am unable to upload tables which give the financial figures. 4. Competition: Competition from other startups: An investor will look for startups which are worth investing in, our nearest competition has just about 5 drug molecules which will go on trial later. WE on the other hand have 600 molecules if we end up with 50 marketable drugs that's a win-win situation for any startup. 5. Profile of founder Jayadev Shastri https://www.linkedin.com/in/e-u-jayadev-shaastri-92a35a14/ Capital raised this far: Our Founder Jayadev Shastri has raised 35 lakhs form his own resources and if isn't able to raise funds from investors he will sink his entire family fortune into making his dream project JaysMedLabs. . 6. High level projections, Future Strategy & Expansion Plans: In terms of projections Drug Design firms become profitable after a year the first question for an investor many similar ventures close down. The answer is simple: unlike other Drug Design firms we have a large pool of molecules and the library of molecules is updated weekly with newer ones. I could say we could make 10 million dollars from the first month but in reality it will take time as the clinical trial period can be long. But I can say with full conviction that we will be profitable as the druggability score is fulfilled. Many would say the failure rate is high in drug design firms. As I have said before, unlike others I have over 600 molecules with more added every week. No other early stage startups have this many molecules. The thought of failure hasn't crossed my mind; I have been working without profit for over 10 years. I could have joined a big pharma firm and furthered my career but feel my venture will be profitable. 7. One on one meeting We can do a video call and I can show some of my molecules. Later on I can make a detailed presentation of how I go about to create molecules. This will show that JaysMedLabs is worth investing in. 8. Mission Statement JaysMedLabs mission is to create molecules which cure diseases like cancer, HIV, stroke, Alzheimer's

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A startup existing here means a startup exists, not that a business is trading.
