Skillour.com is an online platform where skilled workers (hereafter referred as skillours) can register their profiles and demonstrate their specific skills where they will get more exposure thus more opportunities at no cost. The platform also allows general public (hereafter referred as customers) to visit the web site, pick and choose their desired assistance from a pool of skillours listed under various categories and subcategories at no cost. The listing is also based on specific districts and sub regions. 1. It is a new work culture. Each skillours are responsible for obtaining a rating from their customers after the work has been performed. The ratings are set to 5 types of qualifications as listed below. a. Safety b. Attitude c. Punctuality d. Skill e. Wage Generally, the basic qualities of a skillour are based on the above 5 things. As per the algorithm, the skillour profiles are listed in the ascending order based on the ratings. This motivate the skillours to improve themselves, provide better service to the customers and obtain better ratings. Through this, a better work culture can be developed for our country which is the primary objective of this platform. 2. Often the common people are at loss as to which type of worker to approach for the type of services they require. Due to this, often the required service personnel are unavailable. Even if they are, an inaccurate placement can lead to disputes and sometimes even accidents. However, since this platform is user friendly even common people can easily navigate through it and avail the required services. 3. Many maintenance jobs at residents and commercial establishments are not carried out timely and efficiently due to inability to find skilled labour. But as the functionality of this platform spreads, people can easily find the necessary quality personnel required. This also creates increased employment opportunities for the working class as well. 4. Several platforms and applications are available to search for the white-collar workers worldwide, but no such applications are available to search local blue collar work force. This is one platform support searching and finding suitable blue-collar workers. 5. This platform supports to find a blue-collar worker locally or in a remote location. If some from abroad needs to find a local work force in Kerala, this plat platform supports to find it. 6. This platform can be used for the domestic applications as well as the construction field. 7. The construction contractors can immediately find a local worker with the support of this platform. 8. The main revenue of the company is through SMS and AD services.
