Hemp Affair Private Limited is into manufacturing of sustainable and functional textiles from Hemp, Himalayan Nettle and Banana stem. The current focus of the company is on Hemp. Recently, there has been a great increase in the demand of hemp fabrics due to recent legalisation of Hemp in U.S. and rising concern towards environmental pollution caused by textiles industry. Textiles made from hemp are anti-bacterial, anti fungal, anti-microbial and UV resistant. Hemp textiles are four times stronger than cotton, uses 1/3 water compared to cotton and uses zero pesticide and insecticide whereas cotton uses 25% of world's pesticide and insecticide on 3% of world's land.
