Himalayan Fibre Project presents a Hybrid Carding Machine System that enables the post processing of both indigenous Plant Bast Fibres (cellulose) and Animal based Fibre (protein). The system adapts to local eco-textile practices creating biodegradable yarns and fabrics. Removal of drudgery hastens process time and increases volume, yielding economically viable products. It offers employment opportunities in it's entire value chain for rural artisans.
