Vision - A nurturing platform that supports new age tech entrepreneurs to transform their innovative ideas to successful business ventures and improve economic prospects of our nationVIT-AP University’s Incubation Centre, VITAP TBI Foundation (VTBIF), a Section-8 company holding NGO and CSR-1 recognition, lays a solid foundation for promoting innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship within our university. At VTBIF, we actively support faculty and students in their technology-based and knowledge-driven startup ventures, with numerous product prototypes currently benefiting from our center's assistance. Our dedicated space for incubation and product development spans across 15,000 sq. ft. This comprehensive facility includes designated office space, co-working areas, executive offices, a board meeting room, a makerspace, and a recreational zone for leisure. In addition, the registered incubatees are granted access to our advanced COE facilities, specializing in AI and Robotics, Internet of Things (IOT), Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Rapid Prototyping. Our team of experienced experts and mentors are committed to guiding you through the entire business launch process, from nurturing your initial idea to securing funding and beyond. We also provide mentorship and training programs to help enhance entrepreneurs' skills and knowledge. VTBIF Activities 1) Business / Start-up Education; Technical educational research, providing training; 2) Research and development, Engineering, IT enabled services, Consultancy and information services in the field of information technology architecture and infrastructure, Research of agriculture, Healthcare, 3) Offer a comprehensive range of services and resources that includes Financial assistance, Consultancy Services relating to education, IT, Manufacturing and Product development 4) Providing Compliance services - legal assistance and legal research. V-LAUNCH seed funding is a grant that allows an incubatee to collaborate with research scholars, undergraduate and postgraduate students to identify and develop a product prototype that solves societal problems. Each project can receive a maximum funding of Rs. 2.00L. To date, more than 60 V-LAUNCH projects have been approved, with a cumulative budget exceeding Rs. 102.00L Ecosystem Alliance, VTBIF strongly values the power of collaboration and has strategically formed partnerships with esteemed organizations such as CII, ISBA, AP Innovation Society (APIS), AP Technical Services (APTS), TiE AP, IKP Prime, MSME, IBS Global, Wadhwani Foundation and IIPRD.University IPR cell supports filing of intellectual property in the form of Patent, Industrial design, Trademark, Copyright, etc. developed by faculty and students. With the successful implementation of above described initiatives, university has filed 476 patent applications with IPO with VIT-AP University as the applicant. The university faculty and students have published 388 patents of which 25 patents are granted. The entire cost of patent filing process and attorney fees is borne by the university. Further, the university has established Technology Transfer Office (TTO) that facilitates commercialization of IPs.Local/Regional Innovation Ecosystem: Situated in rural region of Innavolu, Amaravathi, AP , our Incubation Centre operates within a thriving innovation ecosystem. The region is characterized by: - Proximity to Academic Institutions: Access to a pool of talented students and cutting-edge research. - Industry Collaboration: Partnerships with local industries, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange. - Government Support: Favorable policies and grants supporting the growth of startups.Start-up/Innovators Engagement Programs: 1. Workshops: Regular workshops on critical topics such as product development, marketing, and funding strategies. 3. Market Outreach Programs: Strategic initiatives to help startups connect with potential customers and investors. 4. Networking Events: Regular events facilitating interaction between startups, mentors, investors, and industry experts.Methodology: - Incubation Programs: Structured modules addressing key challenges, with one-on-one mentoring sessions. - Workshops: Conducted by industry experts, covering practical aspects of business development. - Market Outreach Programs: Collaborative efforts with industry associations, targeted marketing campaigns, and participation in trade shows. - Networking Events: Regular meetups, pitch sessions, and networking dinners to foster connections.Our commitment is to create an incubation ecosystem that not only supports startups but propels them towards sustainable growth and success.
