The ICAI Oman Chapter, established in 2008 under the sponsorship of the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS), is a non-profit platform for Indian Chartered Accountants in Oman. Formed through a Memorandum of Understanding with ICAI—renewed in 2022 for another five years—the Chapter is dedicated to advancing the accounting profession and fostering knowledge exchange. It organizes professional learning events open to all nationalities and also runs the Omani Professionals Working Group (OPWG), enabling Omani nationals to participate in its programs without membership fees.
