The OASME Council for Engineering and Technology, commonly known as ACURATE, is an engineering cluster that has been established as a company under Section 8 of the Companies Act in India. Operating under the aegis of the OASME (Odisha Assembly of Small And Medium Enterprises) industry association, ACURATE has a robust membership comprising 88 members, including 65 entrepreneurs who are permanent members of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) with equal shares. ACURATE stands as one of the largest Common Facility Centre in India, providing a comprehensive range of engineering manufacturing services. Its areas of expertise encompass a variety of sectors, including metal fabrication, agriculture equipment, Automotive components, furniture, electrical equipment, metallurgy, oil and natural gas, defense and aerospace, mechanical and hydraulic equipment, tool and dia works, and many more. The cluster's extensive capabilities are bolstered by over 25 top-notch machines, enabling it to undertake heavy machinery work, precision tasks, different types of industrial welding, and various surface coating processes such as powder coating and galvanizing. Endorsed and supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and the Government of Odisha, ACURATE aims to establish itself as a leading engineering hub in the country. It provides a conducive environment for startups and MSMEs in Odisha by offering a wide range of services, programs, and initiatives designed to drive innovation, foster entrepreneurship, and stimulate economic growth. ACURATE leverages its strong network of ecosystem partners, including government agencies, industry leaders, and academic institutions, to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators. ACURATE focuses on several key areas to drive innovation and support startups within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. These areas include electrical instruments, equipment and components, where they support startups developing innovative products and facilitate collaborations with industry leaders. In the engineering products domain, ACURATE promotes excellence by providing startups with access to advanced tools and resources to create high-quality products. For mechanical products, the cluster assists startups with design, manufacturing, prototyping, and testing facilities. It also supports the development of precision components across various industries, offering access to high-precision manufacturing equipment. In the automobile sector, ACURATE fosters innovation by helping startups develop advanced components and collaborate with manufacturers for market entry. Additionally, the cluster encourages the creation of advanced aerospace components by partnering with aerospace organizations to support innovation and commercialization. Through these focus areas, ACURATE aims to enhance the capabilities of startups and contribute to the growth of the engineering and manufacturing sectors. ACURATE also provides a wide range of services to support its members, including legal and technical support, funding assistance, product prototyping and design, intellectual property rights management, product showcasing, market connectivity, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
