A brief about myself: I am Avani Dwivedi, a passionate entrepreneur working in the food and beverage space, establishing a consumer brand in the probiotic space. Our product is called kombucha, it's a fermented tea-based beverage. We have set up the manufacturing unit for it. I am a graduate of BITS Pilani in Chemical Engineering. I started my professional life while working at an early-stage tech startup in the logistics tech space, where I learned the basics of building things from scratch in the B2B tech space. that experience gave me the edge and confidence to evaluate entrepreneurship as an opportunity for myself. I was always passionate about food, I believe its the best experience for people, and I wanted to build on that experience by getting into a niche beverage space, I wanted to choose something that is healthy and at the same time, super delicious as health is an upward trend from last few years. That's how I got addicted to Kombucha, a probiotic fermented tea, and got into building an experience around it. We have been functional in this space since 2019 and were fortunate to build a brand in Food and Beverage space. We were fortunate to have received great early traction by getting associated with the best Hospitality Brands in the NCR Region like Indian Accent, Comorin, Salad Days, Roseate House, The Roseate, Cocktails, and Dreams Speakeasy (Best Bar in the country). We had also successfully ventured into the D2C segment by partnering with the well established brands in 2020 that were directly catering to the high end customer segment like Earthy Tales, Farmery, Kaze Living, Otipy to name a few to directly tap into at home delivery experience. Our next major goalpost is to establish ourselves a huge D2C brand by offering our product through subsriptions to direct customers. We have been able to establish profitability with our scale of operations despite the covid shuffling the business, we have just evolved our business model to match the changing market scenarios and have survived the oandemic but we are now looking forward to this opportunity to make the most of it and grow this brand to a bigger base and share the amazing experience with a larger customer base. And we really feel with the right mentorship we will be able to pull it off and an initiative like this will be of maximum use to us.
