TharUrja is India's first tech-enabled desert sand industrialization company, founded by Manohar Kumar (B.Tech CSE, ML specialization). We convert Jaisalmer Thar Desert silica sand into high-value industrial materials — solar glass grade silica, ceramics, construction composites, and thermal sand battery storage units — using AI/ML-based quality grading, IoT sensor monitoring, and magnetic separation processing. India imports high-purity silica for solar glass manufacturing while sitting on an untapped, uncharacterized Jaisalmer silica deposit. TharUrja bridges this gap — sourcing raw desert sand from licensed miners, processing it to solar/industrial grade, and supplying to glass manufacturers, ceramic industries, and rural microgrid energy storage systems. Our tech layer (computer vision quality control, XRF-data-trained ML models, real-time IoT dust monitoring) creates a defensible moat no traditional mining company can replicate.
