The biggest crisis of the century is reminding us about the importance of proper disinfection of our health system as social distancing is the new norm. The disinfection of a contaminated hospital room is always a challenge due to two main reason. First being the inefficiency of traditional cleaning methods like wiping to reach every corners and blind spots and the second being that of cross contamination between rooms. As COVID 19 viruses are said to survive in various surfaces for 3 to 16 hours, the role of disinfection should not be overlooked. UV-C technology is a well-established medical grade disinfection technology. The UV-C waves can kill all microbes including viruses and efficiently disinfectant every surface in its path. We propose a Portable disinfectant Fully autonomous intelligent robot that uses this UV-C technology which can be introduced into a room and can effectively disinfect the entire room in a matter of minutes.
