We the Taprootz Ventures Private Limited is sports enthusiasts and considering the health scenario in our country naturally wished to make aware not only the younger generation but also the adults of all age groups about the right choice of sports along with the nutritional food value that can benefit them not just physically but mentally. With our interest in sports and associations with nutritionists, we thought that the plan needs to be executed where we can combine our enthusiasm, ideas, innovation, associations, and abilities and thereby can do our bit to the society in terms of sports welfare. Accordingly, we channelized our thought process into forming a company and it was formed on 12th April 2019 under the Companies Act, 2013 which we named TAPROOTZ VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED, a tiny company with a big heart. This is a sports & Happiness engagement company. When we were channelizing the process, one survey on the website caught our attention which stated as follows: Recently, the idea that progress shouldn’t just be about boosting the economy has gained traction, with greater emphasis on people’s happiness. In April 2012, Bhutan, which uses “gross happiness product” rather than gross domestic product (GDP) as an indicator of progress, convened the UN’s first conference on happiness and well-being. This momentum has continued and, on 20 March 2013, the first International Happiness Day was celebrated, “to promote happiness as a universal goal and aspiration in the lives of human beings around the world”. Sport can also play a role in increasing the happiness of society as a whole. The sport alone will never guarantee a society’s happiness and well-being but, when well-structured and combined with a number of other factors, e.g Positive psychology it can be an important component. Positive psychology in sports has been defined as the science of happiness and strength (Carr, 2011). Another survey also stated that Sports is one of the means to achieve demographic dividends. Demographic dividend, as defined by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is "the economic growth potential that can result from shifts in a population’s age structure, Due to the dividend between young and old, many argues that there is great potential for economic gains, which has been termed the "demographic gift". It says India has one of the youngest populations in an aging world. By 2020, the median age in India will be just 28, compared to 37 in China and the US, 45 in Western Europe, and 49 in Japan. It states, In order to have economic growth; the younger population must have access to quality education, adequate nutrition, and health. A sport is ranked among the top mainstream activities in the economy. We also found grey areas having a scope for an improvement Considering the ignorance about the above points, Taprootz formed a sports café. The café's name is C.L.A.P which stands for Club.Love.All.Play The intent is to not only to provide nutritional food and ready energy food to athletes but also attract young and adults of all age groups to have nutritional food along with their favorite sports. C.L.A.P is designed in such a way that younger ones will be introduced to various indoor and outdoor sports. Café uses a Cricket stump as an entrance handle, has used tires for a sitting area, has chess, zengas to play, table tennis rackets as lamp holders, and more such things. It also has a projector for match screenings, karaoke takes place. It also has a place for a meeting or discussion. we have thus tried to make children/adults make more familiar with sports, make them learn in a fun way about the development value attached to sports, nutritional food they should have for their development, etc. Accordingly, we have designed the café with creative ideas and infrastructure, with indoor fun and brain games, arranging workshops, training programs, and many more in terms of Innovation, Improvement & scalability.
