StromBay is a ClimateTech infrastructure company building India's first grid-independent, 400kW ultra-fast EV charging network for national highway corridors. India's inter-city EV transition faces a structural bottleneck: rural 11kV/600kW highway grids cannot physically support 400kW charging loads. The result is a 1:235 charger-to-EV ratio on Indian highways (vs. 1:20 in the US) and a $20 billion infrastructure gap requiring 1.3M+ new chargers nationally (NITI Aayog / CEEW). StromBay solves this problem through a proprietary Solar + BESS (1.8MWh Battery Energy Storage) "Grid Bypass" architecture, protected by 3 utility patents pending covering grid intake, thermal management, and power allocation. Our AI-driven Energy Management System draws a low continuous load from existing rural grids, stores it on-site, and dispenses it at 400 kW+—enabling a full EV charge in under 30 minutes without any DISCOM grid upgrades or 18-month utility delays. Phase 1 deploys 5 stations across India's highest-traffic South Indian Golden Triangle corridor (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vijayawada, and Tirupati), targeting 800V next-generation EVs and B2B fleet operators. Each station generates 81%+ gross margins and is fully replicable on any national highway corridor in India. StromBay directly supports PM E-DRIVE, national net-zero mandates, and NHAI's EV charging-every-40km corridor requirement, while creating high-value green infrastructure and technical operations jobs at each site.
