I am a passionate writer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur from Bangalore. I have worked in all kinds of medium available out there. Print; audio; stage and visual media. I would rather choose visual media over all other media to tell my stories because it’s a very powerful idea and it’s a collective art of 24 crafts. Now is the age of smartphones with an internet superhighway. These days movies, short films, documentaries, and even the news coverage is done using just smartphones... These days movies, short films, documentaries, and why, even the news is covered on mobile (Most of the news coverage filmed on Samsung phone) and there are backpack journalists. Smartphones are being manufactured for filmmaking features and many mobile film festivals are happening all over the globe. There are also OTT & video-on-demand platforms which are going to be the next big thing in terms of video content creation and consumption. A search says by 2022, 80% of video content will be consumed online alone. Even businesses chose to tell the stories over direct pitching with technical stuff. We are determined to educate & guide rural youth to be able to express and to reach out to the world for their problem/need/cause through video and help others inspire to express themselves. Why? Because there are billions of unheard voices out there who are unable to express themselves to the world and they need a helping hand. Why visual media? As a filmmaker, I believe the visual medium is the strongest and a powerful one. Thanks to technology and the internet, anybody can reach out to the world in a fraction of a second. This is why visual storytelling should be made easy, affordable, user-friendly. Language need not be a barrier. Mission: To help 10,00,000 video storytellers by 2025 and create an online course around that automates & autopilot it. Fundraising is to serve Human & preserve Humanity through two main purposes. Helping unprivileged voiceless to express themselves to the world. And to train rural youth with the know-how of video documenting, who can help the unprivileged. These two streams shall be facilitated by leveraging the online platform. To do so, we need to create awareness, educate, create digital products, teach the target group online as well as offline. System setup, kick start, autopilot, run, maintain, update for the long run is the mission of this project.
