The tribal community members of Anthiyur region involved in this venture are focused on three product lines: 1). They are specialised in locating forest honey and processing it by natural methods, 2). They are specialised in locating and harvesting Seemaru grass and making broomsticks out of it through women workgroups, 3). They convert lantana camara, an invasive species, into furniture pieces. Though these furniture look like cane furniture, they are more durable as well as cost effective.
