We are cloud kitchen based company that is focused on providing people good, balanced and healthy food at affordable prices. We promote protein rich foods made in a hygienic and careful environment. Nowadays just by adding a healthy tag, restaurants and other places demand a very unfair premium. They cost anywhere from 300-500 rupees with no guarantee of cleanliness and hygiene or quality of ingredients .Due to the growth of commission based delivery models like Swiggy and Zomato, most restaurants are unable to keep up with overhead charges and trying to be profitable. This has led to the rise of extremely shady and unhealthy cloud kitchen models that are very exploitative and cut costs in everything to try and get a 100% or more gross margin.We here at Roaring Bowls have a choose your meal system. It is like Subway but with more nutritious and cheaper meals. 1. You choose the size of your bowl, whose volume is mentioned2. You choose the weight of the base, 3. The gravy you want or do it without gravy 4. The kind of protein and how much you of it you wantYou can essentially pick and choose the ingredients you want and how much of it you like. We also serve burritos in the same manner. We have some suggested combinations as well such as Red Thai curry with chicken, or butter paneer burrito.Right now our prices are in the range of 150-300 rupees where most of our items lie around 180-240 rupee range. Currently with just Swiggy and Zomato we will get a profit of 30-38% gross and around 28% net. I plan on registering on ONDC which can boost our profits even more to 55% gross and 43% net. In a few months when are better known, I plan on putting marketing material on the containers for other businesses. This strategy will ensure a higher profit margin for which we can then use to further regulate the prices. We recently did a survey on our Instagram page asking our followers whether they would mind advertisements on their food containers if it meant they would get food for cheaper, 100% of them said they don't. We plan on training our employees on preparation and handling of industrial cooking appliances as well as staff management, inventory management and many more things. I, the founder and CEO, Prateek Sinha am a 4th year engineering student at Purdue University in the US and have worked a multitude of jobs from dining halls to hiring students for dining halls, IT service and an internship as a full stack web developer. While I saw the potential India holds and the opportunities I can create here. So I took a break and am here to make this venture a successful one. I also have loans on me so this venture is huge deal for me and in no way a small matter. The money I have right is what I saved from working as a student and support from my friends and parents. I have worked with industrial grade appliances, received training in food preparations, cross contamination, food safety, kitchen hazards, inventory management etc.The health food market in India is growing at 20% compound annual growth rate. It is highly important facet of the Indian population especially after we were shown the importance of living a healthy life during covid. Most of these recipes are developed or adjusted by me to suit the Indian tastes and restrictions and preferences.
