The Northeast India (comprising of 8 States including Sikkim) bounded by China on the North, Bangladesh on the West and Myanmar on the South and East encompasses 2.62 lakhs Sq.kms- about 8% of the country’s land and is home to 45.59 million people, which is 3.77% of the India’s population. With a topographical terrain completely different from the rest of India, it is one of the largest reservoir of biodiversity in the world with very diverse flora and fauna and harbours largest number of endemics and Schedule I species as compared to any other part of India. We plan to connect the region with the Global market. Northeast is all poised to become the export-import hub with South-Asian & Southeast Asian countries in next 3 to 5 years. With its enormous amount of resources, some of which are extremely rare & unique to the region, some of which are of the best quality when compared on a global level, Northeast is all set to create a mark in the export import business from India. We aim to bring EMC & ETC (Export Management/ Trading company) services right at the door steps of the farmers/cultivators/handicrafts makers/silkworm fabric & other traditional weavers/bell-metal workers & others to enable them to showcase their products & services to the Global market and bring socio-economic development. Right from identifying the products (& services) which are of global standards (or capable of upgrading to) to identifying the farmers/cultivators/other persons associated with the same, to educating them on the quality & other specifications necessary for International trading, to getting the necessary certification (wherever required) done from the concerned government/other regulatory bodies, to enabling them with required packing/logistical/financial & other marketing support, we aim to provide the complete package and create a single-window solution.
