Rajdharti Agro Private Limited

In their own words

At Millet Pure, our innovation strategy is rooted in integrating sustainable agricultural practices with social empowerment initiatives in the water-scarce regions of Western Rajasthan. We are pioneering the promotion of millet farming, a crop that thrives with minimal water, alongside creating impactful employment for rural women. This dual approach addresses critical environmental and social challenges by enhancing agricultural robustness and promoting gender inclusiveness in employment. Our core agricultural innovation lies in the adoption of millets—crops known for their robustness in arid conditions and minimal water needs. This focus not only promotes water conservation but also stabilizes livelihoods for small and marginal farmers in Western Rajasthan, a region plagued by unpredictable rainfall and limited agricultural resources. Millet Pure's commitment to sustainable farming practices extends to enhancing the ecological balance and supporting economic stability in rural communities. In terms of social innovation, Millet Pure has been instrumental in empowering rural women by actively involving them in the entire value chain—from field to market. This strategy not only provides them with stable employment opportunities but also fosters skill development and financial independence. By embedding these practices into our business model, MilletPure is transforming traditional gender roles and fostering a more inclusive rural economy. Furthermore, our product innovation is demonstrated through the development of an entirely gluten-free, maida-free, and besan-free millet-based food range. This aligns with the increasing consumer demand for healthy, sensitivity-free dietary options, catering specifically to those with dietary restrictions such as gluten intolerance and diabetes. Millet Pure’s offerings not only contribute to individual health but also encourage a shift towards more sustainable consumption patterns.
