#KickstartIndia PrimaSource is a Technology team that has build an integrated Marketplace for Respect Origins, a Social Impact venture; a Direct Source to Consumer Marketplace. Due to COVID many rural artisans were stranded between states. They have been provided aid, funds for making products and purchase of raw materials etc. The platform is live now. Its www.respectorigins.com. This integrated technology platform aims to deliver growth to the rural artisan sector via a strong supply chain and consumer/centric marketing. The entire process for the artisans, from setup of store to customer delivery in India and abroad is done by RespectOrigins. Currently there are 1000s of rural artisans who have been contacted, shops have been set-up and from the setup of their store, to enrolling in banking, GST registration, to photoshoots, content management, courier and payment gateways, all is done for them. Those being left-behind, despite the technology and infrastructure transformations, are being brought into the mainstream economy as contributors. It’s also about India as an ancient civilization with enviable heritage reflected in its rich, vibrant arts and crafts traditions and communities. Humanity is universally enriched when these are persevered. We simply must deliver to a global heritage. On RespectOrigins, we appreciate that Heritage is not a commodity.
