Infrastructure in India is developing at fast pace with construction of new Railway and metro projects. India has made fast progressed in field of Mass Rapid Transit Projects in last 20 years. However still the cost of such projects is too high to be implemented in tier 2 cities on a large scale. Tier 2 and 3 cities are grappling with problem of traffic congestion and also require large scale implementation of MRTS projects. We have seen such projects been built in these tier 2 cities. However, the project is limited and whole city is not covered. This is often due to high cost of such projects. The need of the hour is alternative to present form of Metros. And the solution is Monorail. There are clear advantageous of a monorail over metro when the PPHDT is in the range of 5000 to 15000 Some of the advantages are: 1. Cost per km is almost 60% for similar metro project 2. Environmental impact is less compared to metro project 3. Consumption of Cement and steel is almost 50% as compared to metro project P2G Consulting LLP is an innovative venture where we are presently working on Cairo Monorail project in association with Innova Technologies Inc, US, a company which is pioneering in the field on monorail designs around the globe. The system implemented is by Bombardier. The structural system desinged for Cairo monorail project by us is an innovative and is been implemented for the 1st time in the world and shown that this is an alternative MRTS systems with all the benefits as mentioned above. P2G Consulting LLP will all the knowhow of this Monorail technology will promote with implementation of this technology. The promoter of this company, Tarun Kant Goyal, is member of the Executive council of International Monorail Association (Non-profit organization) which works for promoting monorails around the world.
