In their own words
Avani Organics is a brand created by & for the natural farmers in north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. We are currently working with 120 farmers. Our FPO trains farmers in natural farming & organic methods in collaboration with AP Rythu sadhikarika samstha, (APCNF) which are later certified as per APEDA norms. We also sensitize citizens of Visakhapatnam to consume chemical free natural farm food and train them in terrace gardening through various workshops and conducting organic melas. Four Organic retail stores have been established at Visakhapatnam Rythu bazaars, one store at Srikakulam Rythu bazaar with support of AP Agri marketing department in 2022. Farmer produce is collected at farm gate, processed at our only certified processing center in Andhra Pradesh and sold in the brand name of AVANI ORGANICS at our retail stores creating a win-win for both farmers and consumers.
