We are a startup Company registered in February 2017, we have BIRAC BIG and working on Lipopepides based biofungicides. As we are aware that due to indiscriminate use of chemical pesticides, the residues of pesticides are accumulating in food chain and causing diseases to humans and animals. They are also causing soil pollution and degrading the lands by increasing the pH and making the lands unproductive. The beneficial flora and fauna are also affected. Hence people are aware and looking for alternate biofungicides which are safe. In Indian there is huge market for biopesticides. The biofungicides available are made of live and whole cell formulations, which have problems like stability, cross contamination, and many times not functional due to competition in the soil environment, and must be used in large quantities. Our product is a lipopeptides based cocktail biofungicide formulations which are broad spectrum and protects plants from fungal pathogens. It is produced from non pathogenic bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in fermentors. The production and downstream processing is simple and economic as we are producing the product using agro industrial waste products which are a cheap source of substrate which brings down the cost of production and makes the product economic.
