JAKSH FASHION is a manufacturer of fibers for textile startup using artificial silk proteins. It uses Microsilk technology that produces silk proteins found in nature in large quantities through fermentation using yeast, sugar, and water by putting special genes into yeast for the textile industry. Yeast produces silk proteins in liquid form which is turned into fiber using the wet-spinning process. It has developed Mylo technology through which mycelium cells are engineered and assembled to develop a material that can replace real and synthetic leather. It has also developed a technology through which silk protein solutions are made from silkworm cocoons which are preserved and then produced.
