IQOOES Engineering Systems is developing an innovative Smart DC Hybrid Mist Air Cooler designed to provide efficient, affordable and sustainable cooling for homes, small businesses and semi-open spaces, particularly in hot and dry regions. The product combines conventional evaporative cooling with ultrasonic mist technology, supported by a smart microcontroller-based PCB, temperature and humidity sensors, water-level sensing and intelligent closed-loop control. The system automatically regulates fan speed, water flow and mist generation according to ambient conditions and cooling requirements, thereby reducing unnecessary water and electricity consumption while preventing excessive humidification. A key differentiating feature is its 24V DC and solar-compatible architecture with battery backup, enabling efficient operation even in areas with unreliable grid electricity. The technology is intended to address the limitations of conventional air coolers such as high water consumption, excessive power usage, inconsistent cooling and lack of intelligent control. The startup aims to develop and commercialise this technology initially for domestic and small commercial applications, with future scalability into commercial/industrial cooling systems, solar-powered cooling solutions and IoT-enabled remote monitoring and predictive maintenance platforms. The proposed innovation has the potential to improve energy and water efficiency while providing an affordable alternative to conventional cooling systems. The project is currently progressing towards prototype development, testing, validation, intellectual-property protection and commercialisation.
