In their own words
As we are aware that the entire water distribution system is being modernized by and large in our society. In this direction government mechanism is very much concerned and proactively working to provide pure and safe water for each members of the society. The water flow as per the new system through different levels, water treatment plants, pipelines, community storage tanks, household pipeline network and finally to individual taps. Our Samaj-k Saathi will meet and propose to each and every house hold who has adopted and using the new pipelined water supply system. They will explain the benefits of KLAR-1000 and its long-term implications. Apart from that Samaj-k Saathi will also be engaged in fogging / sanitization program for households, institutional, community activities within their respective areas Along with upskilling our Samaj-k Saathi, we will continuously upgrade the skill level of our youth who will be able to fulfil the needs during normal time / pandemic / any major catastrophe as may require. While providing services to the society, these self-employed Samaj-k Saathi(s) will be able to maintain a decent socio-economic status with a sustainable income by staying in their respective native places (needless to go for a job search to distant place). HnG Com Pvt Ltd proudly brings Made in India – KLAR-1000 developed by IIT Kharagpur Alumni’s to cater every House Holds, Educational Institutions, Government premises, Railways, Hospitals, Corporate Buildings & Offices, Group Housing Societies etc. in water and water distribution channel treatment, surface and air disinfection. Rural drinking water consumption pattern change Jal Jeevan Mission, is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households. This project is certainly changing the drinking water consumption pattern, especially in the villages. Earlier most of the household collected drinking water from a hand pump or wells and stored it in the container. The water got consumed within 10-12 hours in most cases, minimizing the chance of microbial growth inside the container. The new drinking water storage pattern would allow the water to be stagnant for longer in the tank as well as the distributing pipelines. This will certainly provide a good environment for the microbial biofilm to establish inside the pipeline along with other enteric pathogens. Emergence and risk of Microbial pathogen in the drinking water system • In India, most drinking water sources or distribution systems are not free from microorganisms. Different pathogenic microbes like Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa etc have been reported to found in drinking water in India (Chauhan et al., 2015). The presence of Coliforms, as well as multidrug-resistant bacteria, was found from the drinking as well as source water sample from North to South India (Suthar et al., 2009) (Skariyachan et al., 2015). Recent ICMR study also found the presence of resistant organisms or their genes in the water bodies (Taneja and Sharma, 2019). Legionella spp. are omnipresent in both natural and human-made aqueous environments. They are one of the major microorganisms found in the drinking water distribution system consistently and reported in India (Chaudhry et al., 2018). • Listeria monocytogenes, another water-borne Pathogen can cause Female Infertility and Deadly to the fetus of pregnant women. It also stays in BioFilms. Staphylococcus, antibiotic-resistant waterborne bacteria, can turn deadly if the bacteria invade deeper into your body, entering your bloodstream, joints, bones, lungs or heart • Recently Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India along with WHO has published the Indian Priority Pathogen List to guide new antibiotic discovery in India. In the critical priority Escherichia coli, a waterborne pathogen was listed, whereas MRSA Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus sp etc was categorized in high priority. Biofilm inside water distribution pipelines • Stagnant water which contains organic matter allowing the surviving microbes to grow under favourable condition. These microbial cells can attach and form biofilms on the surfaces of piping material from which cells may be released into the flow. Biofilm formation is a process whereby microorganisms irreversibly attach to and grow on a surface and produce extracellular polymers that facilitate attachment and matrix formation, resulting in an alteration in the phenotype of the organisms with respect to growth rate and gene transcription. The majority of bacteria in the drinking water system occur in biofilms rather than in the water phase. Biofilms are defined as bacterial aggregates attached to various biotic and abiotic surfaces which interact with each other to adapt themselves to environmental stressors compared to a planktonic existence. The organisms in biofilms tend to become more resistant to antibiotics

What we do not know
- no funding signal of any kind
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A startup existing here means a startup exists, not that a business is trading.
