The Garbage locator app which, as the name suggests will enable the application users to identify the whereabouts of garbage based on the image and its pinned location. This will directly help the users as by enabling the government and NGO and/ private bodies involved in cleaning neighbourhoods and aid the process of city/ town maintenance. The data provided will also help in keeping the tally of the extent of cleanliness of a particular region and time and hence analyse the performance of the particular body involved in the garbage disposal and city upkeep (for example. Municipal corporations) And enable the productivity of these organizations. With the involvement of image evidences the data hence provided will be reliable and will directly involve the people/ residents of the location. This application will hence be benefitting the residents by ensuring cleanliness as well as save the environment from pollution by ensuring proper Solid Waste Management (SWM). The app will also help in prevent diseases from spreading due to the improperly disposed garbage ensuring fewer chances of spreading of epidemics. This app coherently will improve the quality of living in areas with large population.
