In their own words
FENDURA Industries Pvt. Ltd. manufactures UPVC windows, doors, and ventilation systems in Durgapur, West Bengal, using NCL VEKA profile systems and Roto hardware, and is actively developing SmartFrame™ — an IoT-integrated UPVC window and door system. We are working on engineering SmartFrame™ to embed smart glass (PDLC/electrochromic), an environmental sensor array (rain, temperature, humidity, air quality), motorised actuation, and app-based connectivity directly into the UPVC frame at the point of manufacture — a fundamentally different approach from aftermarket retrofit smart-window products available today. Our development work focuses on enabling automatic rain-triggered closing, air-quality-responsive ventilation, and remote app control as a single manufactured unit, rather than components assembled on-site after installation. This is our core R&D effort and primary technology differentiator, being developed alongside our standard UPVC manufacturing operations. We are progressing SmartFrame™ from design through working prototype, with plans to introduce app-based monitoring and maintenance services as an additional revenue stream as development matures.
