DriveGuard Systems is a youth-led safety-tech startup committed to making road safety automatic, not optional. We are building a new category of intelligent, enforcement-driven safety solutions that address one of the most overlooked causes of road fatalities—behavioral non-compliance. Our flagship product, BuckleShield, is an Intelligent Seatbelt Monitoring and Enforcement System that prevents a vehicle from starting unless the driver is properly buckled up. Unlike standard seatbelt alerts that can be ignored or faked, BuckleShield physically enforces compliance, making it tamper-resistant, brand-agnostic, and scalable across all vehicle types.Founded by award-winning student innovator Sankalp Upadhyay, DriveGuard has earned national recognition, government backing, and mentorship from global automotive leaders, including ex-CXOs of Volkswagen and advisors from Suzuki and Walmart Tech. We are currently collaborating with driving schools, fleet operators, and actively exploring OEM partnerships to take our innovation mainstream.DriveGuard is more than a product company—we are building a purpose-driven safety brand aimed at reducing preventable deaths, influencing driving behavior, and reshaping how people interact with vehicles across India and beyond.
