In their own words

Buzzaria is a niche retail space online and offline for entrepreneurs who wish for their indigenous brands to be visible and add to their growth in retail in mega-cities, metros, and cosmopolitan cities. The name Buzzaria has a very interesting story to it. India had a concept of a weekly bazaar/market where people came with their produce. The location was called Bajaria. At the Bajaria, one could find a trader, wholesaler, retailer, lender, buyer, collaborator, and raw material for the production. Thus comes the word, ‘Buzzaria’. The company is the modern-day solution for all such small businesses. The main operation is to create and generate employment at the grassroots level. Along with that, wealth generation and supporting the new and upcoming small entrepreneurs and their innovations also form a part of our main operations. The main problem Buzzaria is trying to solve is to end the existing gap between small entrepreneurs (or) artists and the customers who want to get such handcrafted products but can’t get them online. There are lakhs of small businesses in the country. There is no dearth of talented creative people. Indian artisans produce a huge quantity of handicrafts, art, clothing, and other indigenous products but these products do not get to the right audience (businesses or clients) at the right time. Along with this huge gap, there is a lack of guidance and mentorship for these small businesses. Thus, we wanted to create a place where small businesses and artisans get worldwide recognition, market, and the ultimate guidance needed for them to succeed and expand their business. The main aim of Buzzaria is to give such small businesses and handhold them (with a particular emphasis on women-run small businesses), especially based in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, especially from the mountain regions of India, access to the markets and facilitate the growth of womenpreneurs, independent designers, and hobbyists. The huge gap between the artisans and the target audience is where we come into play. We will provide a platform for small businesses and artisans to list their products. We will operate on both models, e-commerce (through the website), as well as offline stores. Along with the platform, we will also guide the startups to expand their operations and help them in becoming investible. Further, we help them raise funds. Our services will help small businesses expand their operations, grow in scale, gain more recognition in the market and increase their sales. There is no other startup in the market providing a bridge between the customers and small businesses in the country. Big industry names like Amazon and Flipkart also form a marketplace for small businesses but charge much higher commissions. Also, they don’t offer guidance to the startup in case of any trouble and neither helps them in becoming investor ready. The solutions rendered by our startup are unique as we have a strong network and experience to guide such businesses towards success and we can help them become investible. Buzzaria will guide the brand in building go-to-market strategies and expansion plans, making it investible and raising funding, meeting compliances. Also, once the company reaches a certain turnover, we can be involved in funding it. Our services are not just limited to the Indian territory but are borderless. We serve across different countries of the globe through our e-commerce store. Along with that, we have physical retail stores and have a wide network of small businesses who deal with us for their products. With the help of a large network of manufacturers and small business owners (specifically from hilly areas), Buzzaria can conceptualize and launch a new brand every 2 to 3 months. Our extended services in the form of guidance and network to make these small businesses investible differentiates us from some other smaller players in the market. Our target customer segment comprises customers who love handmade, handcrafted, aesthetically appealing, specially created with personal effort and time. People who care about small businesses and understand economic sustainability are the focus of the business. Even people who applaud the creativity and can validate the creative dreams and aspirations of the talented are a part of our target audience. According to the demography, we are focusing on all the tiers (tier 1, 2, and 3 cities) and people who have access to the internet. Location and geography-wise, our target audience is evenly distributed in India as well as overseas.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A startup existing here means a startup exists, not that a business is trading.
