In their own words
We are a two member team, which started with a simple idea - to be the one-stop-shop for car accessories and upgrades with presence in both online and offline models. In simpler terms, we aspire to be the Decathlon of automobile accessories. We want to build our presence online through our website where the assortment of such accessories and upgrades will be present. We want YouTube to be our primary traffic source through our educational videos on benefits achieved from such products. Currently our highest viewed video has 28K views without any paid promotion. We want to increase our followers on Instagram as well through likeable images showing benefits acquired from such products. We want to build our presence offline through autofolk.in stores where people can walk in and browse the various accessories. We would like to have an educational model there as well where there would be sessions to educate car owners on how to use these, on car maintenance, etc So we put together a website, entered into an agreement with a few top brands' importers/distributers and started selling car accessories. We also put together various campaigns in forms of videos and blogs to enable better car care. And yes, after 1.5 years, we can proudly say that we have not only validated the success of our idea but have also started generating early revenues. How are we different from our competitors? We focus heavily on building relationships with our customers. We do not sell car accessories, we sell them a better buying experience through proper guidance and education.
