Anandprabha Agro LLP is start-up that ventures to export mushrooms that have long shelf-life. Oyster Mushrooms usually have shelf-life of two days. The traditional methods followed to extend its shelf-life is not effective . They have numerous drawbacks. One method used is by adding salt to mushrooms. However, There is a salty taste when cooking curry using such mushrooms. There is yet another method of dehydrating the mushroom that makes a significant difference in its colour and turns it into a Dark brown. It also reduces its nutritional value . Freeze-drying is a suitable method for preserving mushrooms for export because it removes moisture from the mushrooms while preserving their texture, flavour, and nutritional content. It is a dehydration process that involves freezing the mushrooms and then removing the ice by sublimation under vaccum .Freeze-dried mushrooms do not require a cold room setting. This method allows the user to use the mushroom in its natural state before using it. It also makes the mushrooms lightweight, which reduces shipping costs, and extends their shelf life, making them more viable for export markets. Vaccum Impregnation will be used to infuse the mushrooms with flavors or additional nutrients. In today’s fast lifestyle, People are very particular about health. Mushrooms are abundant in antioxidnats, low-calorie fibre, protein .They are good source of Vit-D. They help to lessen the risk of developing serious health conditions, such as Alzheimer's, heart disease, cancer, Cholesterol and diabetes. They are also good for heart, boosts gut health, immunity and brain health.
