The left-over biomaterial from slaughter house such as horn and scapula bone were thrown as waste material on earth. At times these are buried in soil and sometimes used as antique pieces, sold in e-commerce sell units. However, all over the world these biomaterials when subjected to preliminary material testing properties in terms of Mechanical, Thermal and Physical studies few interesting facts have been observed. Among them one such salient point noticed is on the thermal properties of sheep horn and scapula bone. Perhaps, this is one of the best impact resistive and high strength material for temperature range of upto 1000°C. The current work focuses on design and development of coating process of biomaterial for high temperature applications in aerospace gas turbine engine blade. This acts as Thermal Barrier Coating (TBC) material for gas turbine blade.
