Aakashik is a technology company that provides digital memorial services. It creates a permanent online memorial page for families to share the life stories, photos, and videos of their loved ones. This page is linked to the gravesite with a weatherproof QR code that is placed on the headstone. The startup solves the problem of traditional grave markers, which only have names and dates, by giving families an easy way to access and preserve full life stories at the gravesite. Aakashik works with funeral homes in North America and Europe by offering this as a simple, no-effort service that generates passive income for the funeral homes through commissions. In summary, Aakashik offers families a modern solution to memorialize loved ones digitally while helping funeral homes add value and earn additional income without extra work on their part. This fills a gap in the market for permanent, accessible, and personalized memorialization at gravesites.
